Olga Lidia Carias

Olga Lidia Carias, a longtime resident of New Orleans, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at the age of 64.

Olga was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished member of her family and community. She shared 38 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jesus A. Carias Sr., building a life grounded in love, commitment, and faith. She was a proud and caring mother to her sons, Jesus Carias Jr. (Gabriela) and Jonathan Carias, who were the center of her world. Olga's warmth, guidance, and unwavering support shaped their lives in countless ways.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymundo Fino and Argelia Fino, whom she honored throughout her life with deep respect and love. Olga is survived by her siblings: Luis Fino, Raymundo Fino, Cesar Fino, Dilma Mejia, and Gladys Alegria, along with multiple nieces and nephews who will remember her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit.

Olga will be remembered for her loving heart, her strength, and the way she made everyone around her feel welcome and cared for. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the family she held so close.

A Catholic Mass will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 for 1PM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will begin at 10AM. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
