Olga Nieto Nunez, 92, of Odessa, Texas passed away May 8, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.
Olga Nieto Nunez was born in Presidio, Texas to Josefina and Raymundo Nieto on March 20, 1933. She married Jose De La Cruz Nunez on March 2, 1952. She worked in housekeeping for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Olga had an extraordinary ability to turn ordinary moments into treasured memories. Her kitchen was a sanctuary of warmth, whether it was the scent of chilaquiles and coffee or turkey and dressing the scent mingled with the sound of stories and laughter, it was family. She loved gardening, tending her to roses with the same care she gave to those around her. She loved and raised many generations of cats last of which was Frijolito. She believed that every day offered something to be grateful for.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, grace, and quiet strength. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the countless memories and the unconditional love she so freely gave.
Olga is preceded in death by her Parents, Josefina and Raymundo Nieto, her Husband Jose De La Cruz Nunez, Sister Evangelina Nieto, Brother Juan De La Cruz, Louis Nieto, Humberto Nieto, Ruben Nieto, Hernando Nieto, Rolando Nieto, Great Grandbaby Jeuxbi Layne, and Son in Law Roy Trevino.
