Olga "Anita" Palomarez

Olga "Anita" Palomarez, 73, a resident of Tyrone, NM, entered eternal rest Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her residence. She was born on November 13, 1949 to her parents, Juan and Victoria (Carbajal) Urenda in Deming, NM. She was a homemaker and was married to Victor Echerivel Palomarez and had six children.
She is survived by her sons, Victor Palomarez Jr. (Ana) of Deming, NM and Juan Palomarez (Valerie) of Vanadium, NM; her daughters, Pamela Grijalva (David) of Santa Clara, NM, Lorenza Veronica Palomarez (Companion Jeremy Delgado) of Tyrone, NM, and Olga Palomarez Reyes (Anthony) of Vanadium, NM; her brothers Richard Urenda (Vikki) of Los Lunas, NM, Sonny Urenda (Rosie) of Nevada, Lorenzo Urenda (Lydia) of Nevada, and Henry Urenda of Baghdad, AZ; her brother-in-law, William "Chanto" Matos; her 19 grandchildren; her 29 great-grandchildren and her numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Yolanda Sophia Palomarez; her sister, Yolanda Matos; her four grandchildren, Joshua Herrera, Jordana Herrera, Joseph Reyes and Zachary Reyes.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 9:00am-10:00am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the Holy Rosary commencing at 10:00am with Carmen Terrazas reciting. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30am at Our Lady of Fatima in Bayard, NM, with Father Martin Okonkwo. Interment will be held at Fort Bayard National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her love Victor at 1:00pm. Pallbearers are Guillermo Herrera, Jeremy Delgado, Abel Rios, Matthew Palomarez, Justin Palomarez and Johnny Palomarez.
