Olga Taboada, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her home in Palmer Township, surrounded by love and family. Born on October 24, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Anatolia (Arango) Usme.
Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Olga Taboada immigrated to the United States in 1961. Her husband, Eduardo Antonio, joined her a few months later, and they married in September 1961. Their dedication to each other led to a fulfilling life with three children. While in Colombia, she worked as a secretary to Human Resources at a prestigious hotel, Hotel el Prado. She participated in various work parties and festivities.
Upon arriving in America, she settled in Easton, Pennsylvania, to establish her roots.
She worked as a seamstress at now known area , The Silk Mills, while balancing her roles as a mother and wife.
She and her husband had the luxury and wisdom of traveling different countries prior to his passing.
She leaves behind her daughters, Vivian (Richard) and Loriann (Christian), her son, Edward Jr.; her grandchildren, Phil (Joanne), Cassandra, Amber(Paul) Austin(Brooke),Tyler, and Christian II; her great-grandchildren, Braxton, Daniel , Jackson, Annabelle, Olivia, and Wyatt; and her brother, Carlos Usme.
She also leaves behind her numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased are her husband Eduardo who passed in 2006, brother Pablo and sisters Lucia, Livia, Alicia, Amanda ,Carolina and Graciela.
Special recognition to her nieces Nury, Miriam, and Clarita, whom were very loved by her.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 04, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 132 S. 5th Street, Easton, PA 18042. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be held privately with the family at Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer Township. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., Village of Moorestown - Bath. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: www.bensingfuneralhome.net.
