With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of Oliver Easter, Jr., affectionately known as "Ollie," a remarkable soul whose presence left a mark on everyone he encountered.
Born July 10, 1964, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Reverend Oliver Easter, Sr. and Mary Ann Easter. Ollie lived a life defined by compassion, humility, and quiet strength. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and loyal friend. His generosity knew no bounds, and his laughter brought light and comfort to every space he entered.
Ollie's life was a testament to love in action. He taught us through kindness, selflessness, and unwavering support. Whether listening with care, lending a helping hand, or welcoming strangers like family, he led with a spirit of warmth and grace.
He found joy in life's simplest moments- enjoying meals with loved ones, being fully present with those around him, tinkering and repairing cars, and anything else he could find, which led to his employment as maintenance manager at Comfort Inn and Suites in El Dorado, AR. His deep faith and gentle demeanor uplifted all who knew him and made the world a more beautiful place.
Ollie was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Reverend Oliver Easter Sr and Mary Ann Easter; maternal grandparents, Thomas Kimble and Alice Coutee Kimble; paternal grandparents, Carl Easter and Mae Dell Jenkins; and his sister, Charlotte Levingston Hayes.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his devoted fiancé, Jennifer Curry of Clarksville, TN; his children, Oliver Tyrone Stringfellow of Farmersville, LA, Oliver Jerome Stringfellow of (Kashoggie), Oliver Alexander Easter and Olivia Easter, all of El Dorado, AR, Bonus children; Shameka Reynolds of El Dorado, AR, Derrion Dobbins and Aaron Dobbins of Little Rock, AR, his brothers, Donny Levingston and James Easter of El Dorado, AR, Carl Easter (Keisha) of Sherwood, AR, and Anthony Easter of Dallas, TX; his sisters, Mildred Hayes of Jacksonville, AR, and Cynthia Morris (Ricky) of Wylie, TX; 11 adored grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will continue to honor his legacy by living with the same love and integrity he exemplified.
Though he is no longer with us in body, Ollie's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
