Oliver Paul Shearrer, of Foley, MO, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Barbara Shearrer; beloved son of the late Paul and Opal Shearrer; devoted father of Darryl (Deb) Shearrer and Dawn (Roland) Alley; cherished grandfather of Bradley Shearrer, Megan Shearrer, Mitchell (Laura) Shearrer, Michael (Jenny) Alley, Adam Alley, and Shannon (Kris) Cook; treasured great-grandfather of MacKenzie, Charlotte, Elena, Emma, Abigail, Izzy, Peyton, Tommy, Bradey, Tola, Rudi, Grayson, and Dean; dear brother of Annabelle (Jerry) Neighbor. Oliver is also preceded in death by his brothers, Gayle (Jill) Shearrer and Bobby (Judy) Shearrer.
Oliver, a passionate outdoors enthusiast and devoted gardener, hailed from Patterson, MO, taking great pride in his roots and close-knit family. With an innate love for bass fishing, he often declared that he was born to fish, relishing the opportunity to explore new locations for his favorite pastime. Renowned for his strong work ethic, Oliver was a dedicated and sweet-natured individual, was easily adored by all who met him. Oliver was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Oliver's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
