Olivia Callais Obituary
Olivia “Granny O” Garcia Callais, 77, native of Galveston, TX, and resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Thursday, December 12th, 2024.
Mrs. Olivia is survived by her son, Rodney (Rebel) Callais Jr.; her grandchildren, Janea (Chet), Kristen (Eric), Gable, Lauren (Wesley), and Brody (Kaylene); her great-grandchildren, Riley, Kyle, Brooks, Maverick, and Tate; and her great-great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Gavin.
Mrs. Olivia was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Rodney Callais Sr.; her daughters, Frances and Monica Callais; her parents, Luis and Francisca Garcia; and her grandson Rhett Thibodaux.
Mrs. Olivia was an avid parishioner at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. She loved spending her spare time shopping and visiting with her friends and taking care of Gable aka Mr. Bill.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose from 9:00 am until service time. Her Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 am with procession following to her internment in Cheramie Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted will arrangements.
