Olivia Ruth Fegan Cline passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, November 22,2010. She was born April 6, 1918 in New Orleans, daughter of the late Marcus J. Fegan and Olivia McKernan Fegan. Mrs. Cline was a resident of Metairie for the last 60 Years. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert E. Fegan and is survived by her brother George K. Fegan and sister-in-law Irene of Corpus Christi, TX and her sister-in-law Thiry B. Fegan of Tylertown, MS. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Cline, Jr. Cherished mother of David A. Daly, Jr., Daniel J. Daly, Carol Daly Murla and Kathleen Cline Crosskill. Mother-in-law of Annabelle Daly, Suzanne Daly, David Murla and Charles Crosskill. Loving grandmother of Dana Bye, David Daly III and Rachel Senac. Great-grandmother of Daniel and Brooke Bye. Also Grandma Ruth to Keith Trosclair, Sam Sketteno, James Toledano, Tanya Olivier and Aimee Toledano and their families. Ruth is also survived and fondly remembered by a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cline enjoyed several hobbies during her lifetime, but her favorite was ballroom dancing. All will remember her as a lovely dancer with gorgeous blue eyes. The family sends to Kathy Murla our most heartfelt thank you for your loving care and dedication. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in LakeLawn Park. Memorial donations may be sent to the Council on Aging, Nutrition Department Meals on Wheels Program, 6640 Riverside Drive, Metairie, LA 70003.
