Olivia Doucette Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Holden Cremation & Funeral Service - Sparta on Jan. 8, 2026.
Olivia Camille Doucette, a radiant soul known for her boundless love and adventurous spirit, embarked on her eternal journey on January 2, 2026, in Springfield, MO. Born on a warm summer day, July 22, 2001, in Concord, NH, Olivia's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the beauty of a life well-lived.
Olivia's story is one of courage and compassion. Despite facing the challenge of cirrhosis of the liver, she remained a beacon of hope and joy to all who knew her. Her legacy is carried on by her cherished son, Oscar, her loving mother, Waneta, her devoted father, Charles, and her siblings Bree, Evan, Corbin, and Jacob, who were her comrades in every adventure.
A woman of profound faith, Olivia's Christian beliefs were the compass by which she navigated life's turbulent waters. Her journey was not marked by the milestones of academia but by the wisdom she gained and shared with others. With a GED in hand, she dedicated her working years to caring for the elderly in a nursing home, where her innate ability to soothe and uplift the human spirit made her an angel in disguise.
Olivia's passions painted the canvas of her life with vibrant colors. Her love for animals, especially her beloved dog Sweet Pea, was a reflection of her nurturing heart. Nature was her sanctuary, where she found peace and inspiration to write music and poems that echoed the whispers of the wind. Camping with friends and family was her favorite way to weave the tapestry of memories that would become her legacy.
Her creativity found its expression on the dance floor, where she moved with the grace of a leaf on the breeze. Olivia's love for others was her most profound gift, and she gave it freely and unconditionally. She was the embodiment of love, adventure, and creativity, touching lives in ways that words can scarcely capture.
In the spirit of Olivia's life, let us remember the words of Helen Keller, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." Olivia lived every moment as a daring adventure, and in doing so, she inspired us all to embrace life with courage and joy.
As we celebrate Olivia's life, we are reminded that her spirit remains with us, urging us to live fully, love deeply, and dance like no one is watching. Olivia Camille Doucette's story does not end here; it continues in the hearts she has touched and the lives she has inspired. Her journey is a beautiful reminder that even in the briefest of lives, the light of a loving soul can shine for eternity.

"touching lives in ways that words can scarcely capture."
We shared many moments together that have become memories to hold on to, tightly. Olivia always knew how to make me smile and laugh. I miss the days we spent outside with no phones for hours. I miss sleeping on trampolines and planning our day for the next. I remember the countless letters you wrote to me and the nights we stayed up talking until sunrise. We shared a lot of similarities in our adult lives and I am so grateful we got to reconnect. You will forever be in my heart, I love you. -emi
