Olivia Fontaine

Olivia Fontaine, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family while at Villa Maria Nursing Home and Rehab in Plainfield, CT on October 17th.

She was born on June 26, 1942 to the late Benjamin and Gina Ciccarelli. She was married to Richard Fontaine who predeceased her.

Throughout her life, Olivia enjoyed being around animals of all kinds at their home in Griswold. She always kept busy with various jobs, besides being a homemaker including sewing and working at the Villa Maria. She loved gardening, reading, sewing and crocheting. What she enjoyed the most was loving and caring for her family.

She is survived by Doreen Bessette and her husband Billy, their children Will and Brad, Richard Fontaine Jr, and his children, Tiffany, Joey, and Brianna, Gus Fontaine, and Gina Tourangeau and her children Olivia and Chris. She is survived also by nine great grandchildren.

She is survived by her four siblings, Flo (Chickie) and her husband Sal, Jake and his wife Adele, Gene (Wee Wee) and his wife Barbara,Ron and his wife Lori, including nieces and nephews. Various cousins including Cindy Green.

She was preceded in death by her sister Nikkie, brother Pat and sister in law Silvia.

The family appreciates the wonderful care by the nurses and staff at Villa Maria.
