Olivia Garcia

Olivia Garcia of Pleasanton, passed away at home with family at her side on Thursday, March 26, 2026 in Pleasanton at the age of 83. She was born on June 2, 1942 in Pleasanton, TX to Antonia and Joaquin Lopez.

Olivia loved dancing, listening to music and working in her yard. She worked at Three Oaks Cafe for many years in the kitchen as a cook. Then went to work at Stage Stop Restraunt for several years. She then went on to work at Kountry Korner Steak & Eggs where she was known as Grandma due to a grandson working there.

She is survived by her daughters Theresa (Terry) Sanchez of Pleasanton, and Alicia Garcia (Juan) of Pleasanton; sons David Garcia and wife Yrma of Campbellton, Angelo Garcia (Terri) of Poteet, Jesse Garcia of Pleasanton, and Clemente Garcia of San Antonio; honorary sister Sista Lopez of Pleasanton; 34 grandkids; 49 great grandkids; and 20 great-great grankids.

Olivia was proceded in death by her husband Margarito Garcia; daughter Rosalinda Garcia; parents Antonia and Joaquin Lopez; grandson Clemente Garcia Jr; siblings Ramon Lopez, Manuel Lopez, Sista Lopez, Enedina Romero,Hulalia L. Vega, Sulema Talamantez, Senaida Perez, Esteban Lopez, and Cecil Lopez.

Pallbearers will be Eliott Sanchez, Zachary Garcia, Reginaldo Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Frankie Sanchez and Justin Garcia.

Special thanks to Holy Savior Hospice and her nurse's Luke and Daizy for all the love and care they provided to Olivia Garcia.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the reciting of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026 at St. Andrew Catholic Church with burial at San Ysidro Cemetery.
