Olivia Jade Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels & Cremation Services on Jan. 15, 2026.
Olivia Jade Iv, born on January 25, 2005, lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a deep love for helping others. Though her life was far too short, ending on January 14, 2026, Olivia's impact was profound, and the love she gave and the difference she made will live on in the many lives she touched.

Olivia was genuine, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved children and animals deeply and found purpose in caring for those who needed it most. She organized fundraisers for warming centers, volunteered at homeless shelters, and gave her time to animal rescue organizations. Service to others was not something Olivia did occasionally, it was simply who she was. She was pursuing a degree in social work at UConn, hoping to turn her compassion into a lifetime of advocacy and care for others, something she already did every day.

She found happiness in the moments that mattered most to her: long hikes with her mom and dog Dennis, riding her horse Vader, tending to her guinea pig Creamy, doing her eyelashes and nails as a form of creativeness and self care, spending time with her brothers, working on home projects with her dad, and sharing laughter and making memories with her best friends. Olivia had a calm strength and a warm presence that made people feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Olivia is lovingly remembered by her father, Sophan Iv; her mother, Chay Iv; her brothers, Benjamin and Noah Iv; her maternal grandparents, Chhai and Seam Chhun; and her paternal grandmother, Sophath Kong, all of whom were a cherished part of her life. She is cherished by countless aunts, uncles, and extended family members in Massachusetts, Illinois, New York, Florida, Washington and California. She held a special place in the hearts of her barn family, who meant so much to her.

Olivia's life reminds us that impact is not measured by years, but by love. Though so young, she lived with purpose and compassion, leaving an enduring imprint on countless hearts. Her legacy is one of kindness, service, and unconditional love, a light that will continue to shine through the lives she touched. We will carry her legacy forward.

Family and friends are invited for visitation on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT. Funeral service will be private. For online expressions of sympathy, please visit, www.leetestevens.com

Olivia, my beautiful friend with the kindest heart. Our time together was always filled with laughter. She had a super contagious laugh and her personality was my favorite thing about her. She made me feel so comfortable around her and we were always so crazy together. She truly brought out the best in me. She cared so much about me and was there for me time and time again. She was my best friend, my hype girl, my photographer, my favorite girl. Thank you for being a huge part in my life. Rest in peace my love I will forever miss you and you will always be in my heart. I send prayers to her family and friends during this time.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Olivia was a force to be reckoned with. You could not be in the same room without feeling her presence because her dedication and love was so fierce. It was an honor and pleasure to have met Olivia, and learned beside her at UConn. We will miss you always <3

Dear Sophan,

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your daughter, Olivia. While I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her personally, reading about her life at UConn and her dedication to helping others-from the warming centers to her time with Vader, Dennis, and Creamy-shows what an incredible and compassionate soul she was.

It is clear she shared your hardworking spirit, especially in the home projects you worked on together and your willingness to help others. Please know that your former colleagues are thinking of you, Chay, and your boys during this incredibly difficult time. We are holding you and your family in our hearts.

With deepest sympathy,
Matt

Olivia (Eve) was an amazing person. I always loved to see her huge smile and hear her laughter. I remember when I made pumpkin cookies for the team and she loved them so much I made another container just for her. I remember she gave my daughter Tamara a poster for her senior field hockey game and it said "Tamara is my idol". She was such a sweet girl. She will forever be missed. Rest in peace sweetheart. I hope you found peace.

Olivia always made me smile. I enjoyed every moment of field hockey as her teammate and her captain. Regardless of where we were, every interaction whether uconn, in her neighborhood, or high school, we always could pick up where we left off. She was funny, charismatic, charming, and loved. I´m so deeply saddened by the news. Rest easy Iv. You will be so missed and i´ll forever remember our inside jokes because they were truly the best ones i´ve ever had.
