Olivia E. "Honey" Rylander

Olivia "Honey" E. (nee Blockson) Rylander passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025 at Silver Stream Nursing & Rehab in Spring House, PA. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Rylander was born on January 10, 1932 in Norristown, PA to the late David and Ethel Olivia (nee Smith) Blockson. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in Norristown. Olivia was a hard working and ambitious woman. She worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the State Hospital in Norristown and then later starting doing private duty nursing.
Surviving is her loving family including two sons, Bradford Blockson and Kevin Warring; a sister, Beverly Smith; six grandchildren, Bradford Thomas, Christine Thomas, Angela Thomas, Ciara Shore, Brittney Blockson, and Kevin Warring; two step-children, Charles Rylander and Aiesha Rylander; as well as many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Olivia was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Suder, who passed away as an infant; as well as 5 siblings, David, Beatrice, Edward, Donald, and Patricia.
Services and interment will be private for the family.
