Richard Allen "Ollie, Dick, Big O" Revercomb, has gone home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2023.
Ollie was preceded in death by his parents Carl & Nettie Revercomb, his brother and sister in law Roger & Cheryl Revercomb.
He is survived by his son and best friend Tony (Robin) Revercomb; daughter Brandi (Jimmy) Barnes; sister Linda (Carl) Miller; sister Laura (Richard) Hardy; several neices and nephews; grand pets Rusty, Roxie, Peanut and Jangalang; and his lifelong friends Vernon & Carol Ashbrook. Ollie was born on November 21, 1950 in Ohio and attended Alexandria and Northridge schools. Although he had many accomplishments, Ollie had always been proudest of his children, Brandi and Tony. Tony never left his side throughout his life and became his best friend.
Ollie enjoyed having Monday night pizza and conversations with Pastor Brian Smith, Tony's best friend. He was a member of the Strokers' car club, he enjoyed working on cars, watching NASCAR and football, was a huge Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Elvis fan, playing with his grand pets and having a beer with his son. His passion was his beloved 1963 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport. Ollie was especially proud when his car won Super Chevy Sunday and was published in the Super Chevy magazine.
He was a great father, friend and will always be remembered for his laugh, kind heart and gentle way. He always was there with a helping hand, a listening ear or a shoulder to lean into. He was loved by everyone who met him.
This is not meant to be a sad occasion; Ollie was a Christ lover but also a lover of beer, Old Milwaukee to be precise, so please join us in raising a glass to remember and celebrate all the things we loved and will miss about him.
Expressions of condolences and other family wishes are welcome. A private service for family and friends will be held.
Please send flower to :5669 Clover Vally Road, Johnstown, Ohio 43031
