Larry M. Adkins,
Larry Malcolm Adkins, 62, of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep.
Born on October 24, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio, son of Jake and Melissie (Osborn) Adkins.
He was a graduate of Mifflin High School in 1982.
He married Laura (Hitchcock) on March 17, 2001, in Delaware, Ohio.
Larry retired from Erie Insurance Columbus Branch, where he was employed for twenty-three years. Larry loved his family above all. He enjoyed being outside, tracking the weather, gardening, traveling, OSU Football, Cincinnati Reds and spending time with family.
Larry is survived by his wife Laura, his stepchildren Jacob (Mollie) Carlsen, Erica (Collin) Odenweller, Jordan (Patsy) Carlsen; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Bernard (Margaret) Adkins, Rick (Susan) Adkins, Darren (Kimberly) Adkins, Relma Joan (Clarence) Trout, Anthony (Leah) Adkins, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jake and Melissie Adkins, his baby sister Ramona Adkins.
Remembering the life of Larry M. Adkins, who left an indelible mark on our hearts. The family will honor his memory with a quiet farewell and kindly request no public service be held. As we bid adieu to our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother Larry, hold dear the laughter, love, and joy that he brought into our lives. A private Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at a later date.
