Leroy Collier of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on December 1, 2025 from cancer. Leroy was born in Caretta, West Virginia to the late Truman and Helen (Stone) Collier. Also preceded in death by all his siblings: Louise Fletcher, Truman Collier Jr., Linda Fletcher, Richard Collier and Rhonda Louanglath all of which he missed tremendously.
Leroy attended South High School, then joined the service. He was stationed in Fort Ord, California as a cook from 1971 to 1973. He was a proud Army veteran. After serving in the army Roy was employed as a truck driver. He drove for Roadway and later for Medco for many years.
Leroy had a great sense of humor and was a kind man who loved his family including his cats.
Leroy is survived by his loving son, Eric Lee Collier of Columbus, his niece, Susan Taylor who cared for him during his illness and many more nieces, nephews and cousins throughout the country. He will be missed but he will be remembered.
