Olympia (Lee) DiTommaso
New Dorp, Staten Island (formerly of Dongan Hills)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Olympia (Lee) DiTommaso, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who departed this life surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Staten Island, Mrs. DiTommaso was the cherished wife of Fiore (Fred) DiTommaso and the devoted mother of Janice (Peter) Toscano, Francine (Howard) Hellman, and Frank (Elaine) DiTommaso. She was the loving daughter of Salvatore and Frances Zerilli, sister of the late Charles Zerilli, and is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Jack and RayAnn Zerilli of Scottsdale, AZ. Family was always at the center of her life.

She is also survived by her nine adoring grandchildren and their spouses: Peter (Dana) Toscano Jr., Jena (Robert) Verardi, Patrice Toscano, Christina (Vincent) Tingos, Jason (Jenna) Hellman, James Hellman, Fred DiTommaso, Frank DiTommaso Jr., and Olivia DiTommaso; and ten treasured great-grandchildren: Robbie, Joey, Frankie, Abby, Lia, Jack, Callan, Peter III, Dominick and Kate.

A proud Staten Island businesswoman, Lee, alongside her beloved husband Fred, co-owned the iconic Country Club Diner with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Anthony and Trudy DiTommaso in Grasmere, where they created a gathering place filled with warmth and community. She later founded Olympia DiTommaso Realty, a business she nurtured with pride and integrity, which continues to thrive today as DiTommaso Real Estate under the leadership of her son, Frank.

Mrs. DiTommaso was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a love for painting and delighted in sharing that joy with her grandchildren. Her kitchen was the heart of countless cherished memories, as she poured her heart into cooking for her family. Above all, she treasured being surrounded by those she loved most.

Family and friends will be received at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home on Sunday, August 3rd, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Monday, August 4th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 6th, at 11:00 am at St. Clare's Church, Staten Island.

Lee's legacy of love, devotion, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
