Olyn "Keith" Lowrey, January 13, 1959 - December 4, 2022. Keith Lowrey, 63 passed away Sunday morning, December 4, 2022. He was born January 13, 1959, to Aaron and Hilda Lowrey in Louisville, Mississippi.
Keith spent his early life in Louisville, Mississippi where he played football at Winston Academy. He was a painter by trade and enjoyed riding horses on trail rides and would often travel to ride with his friends. Keith was loved by many and could always light up a room. He was never without a funny joke to tell; whether suitable for the occasion or not. To know him was to love him. The challenges he faced in life never deterred his faith and love for the Lord. His faith gave him comfort in knowing where he was going when his life here was finished. "I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you." -Isaiah 44:22
Keith is preceded in death by his father, Aaron Olyn Lowrey; his brother, Aaron Anthony Lowrey; and his sister, Janice Lowrey Richardson. He is survived by his mother, Hilda Lowrey; brothers Joseph Lowrey and Murray Lowrey; his daughter and son-in-law, Holli and Joel Nobles; his son, Olyn Van Lowrey; his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Kathryn and Dustin Clay. Keith had eight grandchildren that he loved; Kyle, Ryne, Blake, Bryson, Madyson, Dawson, Lily and Lucy. Keith is survived by numerous friends and family members, including two of his very dearest friends, Carolyn Kyle and Mack Dees.
A visitation/service to share happy memories and celebrate Keith's life, in the way he would want to be remembered, will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 2-4pm at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, MS.
Services are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by signing the guest register at www.nowellmasseyfuneralhome.com.
