Oneida Joyce Dooley

Oneida Joyce Dooley, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2026. She was born on May 10, 1943, in Madison County, Kentucky, to her late parents, Bert and Hazel Lunsford.

Joyce was a devoted member of Scaffold Cane Full Gospel Church of Berea, Kentucky. She was strong in her faith and found great joy in attending church and serving the Lord. Joyce loved to travel, no matter the destination, and enjoyed seeing new places. She had a deep love for gardening, especially tending to her flowers, which brought her peace and happiness. Above all, she loved her children and her family, and they were the center of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents. And one Brother Bert Glendon Lunsford

Joyce was survived by her loving husband, William Franklin Dooley of Berea, Kentucky; her three children, Jennifer Henson of Berea, Kentucky, Robert Brown of Berea, Kentucky, and Mark Franklin (Theresa) Dooley of Berea, Kentucky; and her sister-in-law, Georgia Lunsford.

She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Matthew (Casey) Isaacs, Stephanie (Brady) Ellison, Timothy (Stephanie) Brown, Amanda Brown, and Audrina Milan Dooley; as well as three great-grandchildren: Isaac, Elizabeth, and Porter.

Graveside services will be held on February 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Berea Cemetery, with Rev. Jeff Whittemore officiating.

Pallbearers will be family.
