Please accept my sincerest sympathy in your loss! I can't remember a time when I didn't know Opal and I always thought she was one of the kindest and most giving persons. She was a wonderful friend to our entire family. You will be in my thoughts, prayers and love! (I'm sorry this has happened during a time I am unable to come and express my sympathy in person!)

Mrs. Lyles shared her recipe for brisket with me at a dinner on the ground in Dundee more than 20 years ago. I remembered her as such a sweet lady. My mother, Maurine Stone knew Opal and Howard when they were all young in Blackflat. I know they are all together once again.

I will always remember spending Christmas and Easters with Opal. Enjoyed visiting with her. Enjoyed going up and down her stairs as a little girl. I will miss her. Christi

She was a wonderful lady and always willing to help anyone. She let me use her silver punch bowl for my wedding and even helped with it.
