Oralia Sanchez was called home to our Lord Tuesday November 04, 2025. Born on February 18, 1931, to Ysidro and Pablita Chavez of San Patricio NM. She was married to Ernest Sanchez on March 20, 1948.
Oralia is survived by her children James Sanchez (Eustolia), Janice Sanchez-Bernal (Brett) and daughter-in-law Joyce Hoff-Sanchez. 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. Siblings Reynel Martinez and Eileen Sedillo as well as many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest, sons Ernie, Steve, and a baby boy at birth, and daughter- in -law Ruby Sanchez. 15 siblings Grace, Amarante, Inez, Adela, Senon, Sipio, Oralia (1st), Luvin, Emiliano, Melvin, Danny, Humphrey, Efrain, Josie, and Ramona.
Oralia could always be found in her kitchen enjoying her passion for cooking, baking, and canning. There was always something prepared to share with all her guests. A woman of many talents including tending to her beautiful garden and fruit trees, crafting, and her eye for decoration. She lived a long life full of many memories, built at the heart of who she was, her family. She enjoyed the laughter of a full house while storytelling, and treasured the individual bonds shared with each of her loved ones.
Oralia will be remembered for her strength and dedication to her family.
