Bud Orin Martinson, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, in Sun River, Montana.
Born on April 26, 1943, in Sacramento, California, Bud was the beloved son of Muriel and Richard Martinson. His early years in California laid the foundation for a life marked by kindness, dedication, and deep connections with those around him.
Bud served his country with honor as a member of the National Guard for two years. His time in service reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment to others. Qualities that remained central throughout his life.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon (Sherry) Martinson; daughter, Brenda Martinson; son, James Martinson; and sister, Sharon Martinson. Bud also held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
Those who knew Bud will remember him as someone who truly loved everyone—and was deeply loved in return. His warmth and presence touched many lives, leaving behind cherished memories that will endure.
