"Orius Sainsurin, a beloved husband, father, and devoted man of faith, passed away on May 30, 2024, at Memorial Hospital. He was 63 years old.
Born on August 15, 1960, in Saint Louis du Nord, Haiti, Orius lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service to others. He was a man who found great joy in the simple yet profound aspects of life: reading the Bible, attending church, and playing the accordion. His music brought happiness to many, and his faith was a guiding light for all who knew him.
Orius shared over 20 beautiful years of marriage with his cherished wife, Jacqueline Sainsurin. Together, they raised five wonderful children: Lovely, Linda, Erna, Nadege, and Mathew Sainsurin. Orius was a devoted father who instilled in his children the values of faith, love, and hard work.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Orius's life and legacy. A viewing will be held on June 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 1203 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207. The funeral service will take place on June 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM at 800 Hammond Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221. Following the service, there will be a reception and repass at the same location, where family and friends can gather to share memories and support one another.
Orius Sainsurin will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for his family, and the joy he brought through his music and fellowship. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him."
