Oscar Rafael Cisneros, born on September 18, 1960, in El Salvador, departed this life on August 8, 2025, in Gulfport, MS. Oscar and his wife, Stephanie, moved to Long Beach, MS in 2021. He enjoyed sitting by the beach and feeding the seagulls. Oscar would take that time to reflect and pray. He was a devoted Christian whose faith was the foundation of his life. He would study his bible daily, a reflection of his deep spiritual commitment and relationship with Jesus.
He was a dedicated professional who spent his career working as a cyber security engineer for companies like Disney, Estee Lauder, NASA, and The Pentagon, just to name a few, contributing significantly to the field with his expertise and commitment.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Oscar was an avid enthusiast of aviation. He trained as a pilot and found immense joy in flying, whether in the skies or through his beloved flight simulator.
Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Walther Cisneros, with whom he shared 3.5 years of marriage. His legacy continues through his daughters: Vanessa Lucia Dewey (Thomas Dewey), Rocio Maricel Rauda, and Adriana Laureen Robinson (Victor Robinson), as well as his son, Ronald Steve Cisneros (Audrey King Cisneros). He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Emma Adele Walther, and his brother, Roberto Benjamin Cisneros Avila (Beny). His grandchildren, Asher Thomas Dewey, Levi Daniel Dewey, Eliana Lucia Dewey, Alejandra Maricel Diaz-Imlah, Isabella Rae Robinson, and Camila Rose Robinson.
Oscar was preceded in death by his mother, Marina Lidia Avila de Cisneros, and his father, Roberto Benjamin Cisneros Rendon. His family and friends remember him as a remarkable individual whose presence enriched their lives, and his contributions to society and his faith will be long remembered.
Visitation for Oscar Rafael Cisneros will take place on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Rd. in Long Beach. The funeral service will begin at 11 am at the funeral home chapel.
