Oscar "Norman" Coffey Jr.

Oscar Stanley "Norman" Coffey, Jr., 76, of East Sparta, passed away Friday, December 30th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Elizabethton, Tennessee on March 12, 1946, a son of the late Oscar S. and Ethel T. (Tolley) Coffey, Sr., also preceded in death by daughter Karen Louise Coffey; 2 brothers Jarmon and Carmon Coffey. Employed for both Republic Steel for over 30 years and H-P products for 13 years before retiring. Norman was ornery and outspoken, but always a good man. A 32nd Degree Master Mason, he was a member of the Trinity Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge, McKinley White Shrine, and Scottish Rite. Survived by loving wife Eloise "Nancy" (Rentz) Coffey of 58 years; 2 sons Timothy Wayne Coffey, of Columbus, Ricky Allen (Kari) Coffey, of Alliance; sister Mary Moore, of Florida; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends as well as 2 canine companions Kammy and Millie. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
