Otis attended Indianapolis Public School System and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1971.
Otis diligently worked many years at places of employment such as City Market, Chevrolet, and Allison's.
Otis Burnell Barnett departed this life on July 8th, 2025, at the age of 71 years old. He is preceded in death by his father Otis L. Barnett and mother Thelma L. Barnett, and son John Barnett. He leaves to cherish his memory - his loving wife Deborah Barnett, daughters- Erika Barnett, Torri Barnett, Rebecca Barnett; sons- Justin Barnett and Dorvae' Barnett, his loving sister- Vanessa (Larry) Whitfield, and a host of grandchildren, friends, and family.
