Agnes Vanessa Brown

Agnes V. Brown 94, of Indianapolis, Indiana (via Richmond, IN) passed away on January 20, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1930 in Richmond to the late Quincy Vernon Carter and Myra Jane Brown Carter.Agnes graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, IN and went on to work for the Department of Finance at Fort Benjamin Harrison.She is survived by her three sisters Myrna Sawyer, Camille (David) Gorham and Frances Carter and a host of relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George W. Brown, children Anthony L Brown and George W. Brown II, sisters Lu Ann and Natalie Carter and grandson Julian T. Brown.Memorial Services will be held privately and burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown IN
