Otis Faye Williams Denson
January 16, 1943 – August 12, 2025
A Celebration of life for Otis Faye Williams Denson, age 82, who passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in Purvis, MS will be held with a graveside 2:00 pm Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Old Mt. Pisgah Baptist Cemetery.
The Rev. Vic Bowman will officiate the graveside and visitation will begin at 12:30pm-1:30pm Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, 3555 Hwy 80 West, Morton, MS 39117.
Faye was born on January 16, 1943, in Sandhill, MS to Otis Williams and Lena Pearl Trest. She grew up in Sandhill, MS with 3 sisters, Emma Jean, Peggy and Janice. In 1959, she married, William “Billy” Milton Denson of Canton, MS and was married 66 years. She was an avid outdoorsman and spent many happy days hunting and fishing. She enjoyed her flower gardens, cooking wonderful meals, sewing, quilting and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Milton Denson; parents, Otis Williams and Lena Pearl Trest Williams; son, Terry Denson; sisters, Emma Jean and Peggy.
Survivors include daughter, Kathy Rayborn (Michael); sons, Mitchell Denson (Marie) and Jerry Denson (Roxanne); grandchildren, Stacy and Ashley Rayborn, Matthew, Brett and Luke Denson, Millie and Mallory Denson; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Janice Jones; sister-in-law, Jo Faye Kilpatrick.
Pallbearers will be Michael Rayborn, Jerry Denson, Mitchell Denson, Matthew Denson, Brett Denson and Luke Denson.
