Otis Harding Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by San Jose Funeral Home - Eastside on Apr. 13, 2024.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, Frank (Hank) Otis Harding, on April 7,2024.
Dad is survived by his loving children, Linda and her husband Victor, Frank and his wife Lola, Gilbert and his wife Carol, and Kathy and her husband Adan. Dad was Grandpa to nine grandchildren, Amy, Michael, Ryan, Christopher, Jacqueline, Adan II, Christina, Nicholas and Samantha. Dad was proud to be Great Grandpa to Megan, Andrew, Kristin, Noah and Leia.
Frank is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Maria Teresa Harding, his parents, George and Hildred Harding, and his siblings, Ben, Bernice, Doris and Bill.
Frank served in the United States Airforce from 1951-1953. On June 4, 1955, Frank married the love of his life, Maria Teresa Harding. Frank was an intelligent and hardworking man. He
was employed by the City of El Paso Airport Maintenance Dept. for 30 years. He then continued to work (he never stood still) at Eureka and Land Yacht.
Hank was a master of many trades. He is fondly remembered as the family's TV and radio repairman, as well as the family's auto mechanic. If it was broken, he could fix it.
His interests included photography, carpentry, radio-controlled airplanes, as well as online shopping. He loved to go camping, travel the country in his RV and go on ocean cruises.
On behalf of the whole family, we would like to give a special thank you to Ruben Guajardo, Dad's caregiver and dear friend.
Our Dad is the best Dad anyone could wish for. A Husband unlike any other and a wonderful friend to many. Our time with him is cherished and his memory will forever be with us!
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, 4 pm to 8 pm, at San Jose Funeral Home East, 10950 Pellicano Dr. Prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, 9:30 am, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Willamette. Frank will be laid to rest at 11:00 am, alongside Maria, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Road.
