Otis Lee Ivins Jr. 62 of Bonham, TX passed away on March 28, 2026 in McKinney, TX with the love of his life Rhonda by his side. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home Bonham, TX.
Lee was born on January 23, 1964 in Fort Worth TX, to Rosemary and Otis Ivins Sr. He graduated from Thackerville HS and he worked in many roles over his lifetime gaining numerous friends along the way. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren as well as showing Tennessee Walkers with friends, family, and grandchildren. He was well known to be the person to lend a listening ear…or to share the latest gossip with. He will be remembered as a gentle giant that loved with every ounce of his being.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Rhonda of Bonham; children Amanda and Mikell Taylor of Savoy, Heather Alford of Portland OR, Brittany and Brandon Hill of Ector, Elizabeth and David Rivard of Ector; grandchildren Ethan and Noah Taylor, Ainsley and Arthur Hill, Trenton,Trevor, and Trey Rivard; siblings Cindy and Stuart Farr, Carolene and Eddie Thompson, Melinda Williams, Michael and Sonja Stephens, and Mark and Day Stephens; numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Otis Sr., father-in-law and mother in-law Michael and Peggy Stephens, nephew, Mark Elliott, and grandson, Kaden Ivins.
Services will be held at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham, TX on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 2pm with Bro. Chris Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Wise Funeral Home. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers at this time.
