Ouida Smith Obituary
Mrs. Smith was born on April 1, 1930 in Savannah, the daughter of the late Carrie Davis Clanton and William Curtis Clanton. She was a 1947 graduate of Commercial High School. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she was active with the Silver Nuggets. She was also active at the Senior Citizens' Center in Thunderbolt.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her loving husband, Woodrow Coleman Smith and her son-in-law, James Oliver. She is survived by her sons, Curtis Woodrow Smith (Susan) of Savannah, GA and William Edward Smith (Camille) of Miami, FL; daughter, Cynthia Smith Oliver of Sugar Hill, GA; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel is assisting the family with a private funeral service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 7375 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406 or to the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, GA 31405.
