So sorry to hear of Owne's death. I just learned it in the Stow Sentry of his passing.. Would have loved to attend his wake. Me and my family knew Owen and the entire Milsaps family when we all attended the Baptist Church in Stow. My sympathies to the entire family and especially Johnnie. I last saw Owen at the Kent Stage. What a great surprise to see him there.

Dear Joel, Luther, Mike, Becky, and family,
So sorry for your loss! We are having a Mass said for him.
Owen always had that sheepish smile on his face like he knew something funny you didn't know. Speaking of his great sense of humor and comic timing, his heartfelt laughter always made us laugh.
The first time I (Monica)met him was in Kung Fu class. It was a great day when I could "take him down" LOL!
There was never a time with Owen that we didn't hear a story or tall tale about adventures in the past. We are going to miss Owen very much. God bless you all!

Owen touched the soul of everyone he met and left a smile on their heart. He was a dear and precious friend who has left a dark hole in the universe with his passing. I'm sure he is rejoicing in heaven with his beloved Becky. Fly with the angels dear Owen, you are home.

Owen will be missed by all on Sandy Lake. He always played a big part on Splash Day every other year. He was our announcer, organizer, the voice of Splash Day.
Anything I asked of him, he did with a smile and lots of energy. You never knew when he was suffering with his health problems. He always had a smile.
We would greet each other numerous times a week in our drive way. Our cars are close to each other, Owen would always yell over to me, "How you doing Cindy" with a great smile and positive attitude.
I will miss Owen, and always keep him in my thoughts.
All my love the his family and friends, I will pray God gives you peace and comfort during these times.
Love,
Bob and Cindy Lohman

Owen was one of the kindest, sweetest people that I have ever met. I put "classmate" because we were both students of the drum together. With every practice, every gig and every gathering, he had something nice to say. I'm so sorry for the family for losing such a beautiful soul. And may his soul continue to beat to the rhythm of the drum forever.
