Owen Gregory Cserep

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Owen Gregory Cserep, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 23. Owen was intelligent, quick-witted, and considerate to everyone he encountered, never denying a request for help. He was passionate about fitness and exercise and always ready to join you for a hike.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, via Monterey, California, briefly, Owen grew up in the Willamette Valley. He attended Mountain View Elementary School, Cheldelin Middle School, Crescent Valley High School (graduating in 2021), and Linn-Benton Community College.

He was an adventurous soul as a child, creating adventures for he and his action figures to endure with accompanying action music that he'd hum. He loved his Jedi robe and light saber, asking his mother "When I'm a Jedi Master, will you call me Master?" Culminating in a furious battle with Darth Vader at Disneyland. He was always willing to help with work at his grandparents or the farm he grew up on. At heart he was a Jedi Knight, a Jupiterian, an avid reader, a cross-country runner, a karate student, track athlete, right back in soccer, a hard-working wrestler, a hiker, a climber, an NBA basketball fan, and a reliable hard worker. His intelligence, quick wit, and sarcastic humor will always be remembered and enjoyed in reminiscing. Most importantly he was a beloved son and brother. He was a bright light to those who knew and love him, and he will always be loved and warmly missed.

Owen is survived by his loving parents, Tom and Deb, his sister, Chiara, and his brother Robbie. A private service will be held for the family to honor and remember him.
