PALMER BARRETT Obituary
July 6, 1954 – Mar. 4, 2025
Palmer A. Barrett III, 70, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, in Imperial, CA. Born on July 6, 1954, in El Centro, CA, Palmer was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
After graduating from Central Union High School, Palmer embarked on a dedicated career that saw him working at the Tree Top facility in Washington and later at a local lumber yard in Idaho. He was deeply committed to providing for his family, a trait that defined much of his professional and personal life. Upon retiring, Palmer devoted himself to raising his two daughters, a role he cherished deeply.
Palmer's life was marked by his robust sense of humor and his love for the outdoors. An avid fisherman and hunter, he also had a passion for horses and working with animals. His support for his favorite football team was unwavering, and he enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement that came with each game.
Palmer is survived by his daughters, Dani Figueroa and Becca Bjerke; grandchildren, Makenzie Figueroa and Bennett Bjerke; brother, Terry Barrett; sister, Lynn Huber; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Palmer A. Barrett II and Peggy Barrett, as well as his sisters, Debbie and Lori Barrett.
In honoring Palmer's final wishes, no traditional funeral or memorial service will be held. His family plans to fulfill his dream by taking his remains to Alaska, where he can rest eternally in the serene landscapes he always longed to explore more deeply.
Palmer's life was one of dedication, laughter, and love. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
