Pam Le Blanc Evans

1946 - 2024

Pam Le Blanc Evans, born January 31, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska, to Russell Thomas Le Blanc and Mary Catherine Le Blanc, passed away on June 28, 2024, comfortably and at peace. She is survived by her brother Russell Le Blanc, Jr. of Austin, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Mary Beth Manriquez. Pam was raised in New Orleans and graduated from Saint Joseph Academy. Her career began at Cambias Office Supplies in New Orleans followed by Walmart in New Orleans and Zachary. She was a lamb, with a kind and giving heart. She fought injustice and to her everyone mattered. She was a beloved friend to many, always thoughtful and generous, and ever willing to help out someone in need. Pam was strong-willed but anyone who treated her with respect and kindness was showered with generosity and kindness in return. She was an animal lover who was St. Francis-like with animals and had an amazing ability to connect with them. She was a voracious reader enjoying every newspaper, magazine and book she could get her hands on. She thrived in her final years at The Lodge at Lane where she made many friends, was well-loved and had the finest care anyone could have. The family gives special thanks to The Lodge and Clarity Hospice for the care given her both when she was at her best and during her declining years when she needed it the most. There will be a hole in our hearts as we say goodbye to her.
