Pam Ursrey Ewing, a retired LPN known for her dedication to family and community, passed away on April 16, 2024, at her residence. She was born on November 27, 1962.
Pam's love for her family was unparalleled, and she lived a life that revolved around her loved ones. She graduated from Jeff Davis County High School and pursued a fulfilling career as an LPN. Pam's caring nature extended beyond her professional life as she was very involved in helping with Children's Church, Vacation Bibles School, and loved to travel and to cook for her family. She was a member of Baxley First Baptist Church, and Adult IV Sunday School Class
She is survived by her loving children, Patrick Ewing and Chihara Campbell (Andrew), who meant the world to her. Pam adored her four grandchildren, Emma Grace Nail, Abigail Nail, Paislee Rose Ewing, and Easton Lee Ewing. Her mother Jean Ursrey, along with three siblings - Matthew Ursrey (Susan), Carla Spaur (Todd), and Rhonda Tillman (Keith) held a special place in Pam's heart. Additionally, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Pam was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nelson James Ewing Jr., and her father, Wilbur Ursrey.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. from the Baxley First Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Weisel and Reverend Fred Anderson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Miles Chapel Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.
Active Pallbearers are John Lucas Nail, Alton Covington, Jamie Spaur, Bradley Tillman, Trevor Patchen, and Andrew Byrne.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Adult IV Sunday School Class of Baxley First Baptist Church, Betty Sauls, Carrie Kuester, and April Patchen.
Pam Ewing will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to family, and unwavering kindness towards others. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
