Sharon Ford

Sharon Ford, age 71, passed away on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at her residence in Surrency under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. She was a native of Appling County and a member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church. She was a former manufacturing worker and a staff member at Reedy Creek Restaurant for many years. Her love of all animals and nature itself was central throughout her life; then she passed on that knowledge and love to her family and friends. While living in solitude, she was never alone and made sure no one else felt lonely.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Novadeen Jackson, and her sister, Jequito Griffin.

Survivors are her father, Wayne Jackson of Surrency; Daughter, Tanya Mosley (Greg Sheffield) of Baxley; Two Grandchildren, Hunter Mosley (Catherine Transou) and Michaela Moody (Brandon); a great-grandchild, Madelyn Moody; a sister, Debra Aldrich; and her aunt, A. Faye Jones; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A Celebration of Life service will be on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2 P.M. in the Strickland Room of Nobles Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of South Georgia, Glenvue Health and Rehab, Altamaha Home Health, and Travis Knight.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of South Georgia, located at 1625 Sunset Blvd, Jesup, GA.
