Funeral services for Pamala Harris, 65, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Rev. Nick Wagner will officiate. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 21, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
We say goodbye to a woman who loved life so loudly and joyfully that even silence doesn't quite know what to do with itself now. Pam was a devoted wife, a fiercely loyal mom, a Grammy, who unapologetically spoiled the grandkids, and a sister who had your back-even when she probably shouldn't have.
A hardworking woman through and through, Pam always had a solution ready to fix your problems-whether you asked for it or not-and she was almost always right. As a Grammy, she spoiled the grandkids with pure joy and zero hesitation, proving that rules were more like suggestions when it came to them.
And knowing her, she's already reorganizing heaven and making sure everyone up there is behaving.
Pam commanded attention without trying, simply by being herself: bold, funny, and full of life. And though she found true love later in life, she made up for lost time by loving every moment to the fullest.
Pam leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, loyalty, and a reminder to always enjoy the small things... especially dessert. Her presence will be missed, her humor remembered, and her spirit felt in every story we continue to tell-whether she'd want us to tell them or not.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, Eddie Harris; daughters, Jacie Rhoten and husband Cole, Candace Chovanec and husband Josh, Sharla Rodrigue and husband Eric; son, Brandon Waggoner and wife Tarah; grandchildren, Mannalis Rhoten, Oaklynn Rhoten and Marshal Chovanec; sister, Michelle Joiner and husband Mark; nephews, Matt Joiner and wife Sarah, Michael Joiner and wife Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Herring; and father, Dean Coates.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Cole Rhoten, WB Harris, Matt Joiner, Michael Joiner, Lester Harris and Nicholas Harris. Honorary pallbearer will be Prentice Joiner.
Even though she has left our sight, she will never leave our stories, our hearts, or the parts of us she helped shape. We love you so much. Rest in God's Glory.
