Pamela Agnew Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 2, 2011.
WATAUGA -- Pamela Joy Agnew passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, March 2, 2011, surrounded by family. She bravely fought cancer for over three years demonstrating unrelenting courage and strength. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Parker Cemetery in Grapevine. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Pam was born in Fort Worth on March 16, 1956, to Rolene and Sue Yarbrough. Stories from family members depict a feisty little girl who definitely preferred fast cars over frilly dresses. Pam's pride and joy were her two sons, Robert Michael and Mitchell Lee. With devotion and loving care, she raised two "fine young men," as they like to be called. The only pain she ever expressed was the pain of leaving her boys so soon, but she will greet them again one day. In her free time, Pam was actively involved with the Special Olympics. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her boys, family and friends. Even though we are not ready to let her go, Pam's joyful spirit will remain in our hearts forever. She treasured her family and friends, and loved us all. Survivors: Robert Sears; sons, Robert Michael and Mitchell Lee and Rebecca Russell; parents, Rolene and Sue Yarbrough; brother, Randy Yarbrough and wife, Penny; sister, Kim Rackley and husband, Ronny; nephews, Ryan and Travis; Robbie "Miss Robbie" Guinn; and countless family and friends.
