Pamela J. Bouchard, 61, of Manchester, died December 24, 2013 at Community Hospice House, after a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester on October 30, 1952 to Florian and Martha (Parker) Bouchard. She was a life long resident of the area and earned her Bachelors Degree in Education from Keene State College and Masters Degree in Education from Lesley College. Pamela was employed as a teacher, 3rd grade for nearly 39 years, having last worked at Highland-Goffe's Falls Elementary School.

Pamela enjoyed fishing on the pontoon boat, gardening, golfing and crafts. She was a member of "The Mount" where she spent many hours competing in dart tournaments and dancing the night away. She was a volunteer at various animal shelters and had always had a love for cats, of which she had four of her own.

The family includes her father, Florian Bouchard of Goffstown; two sisters, Judy Descheneau of Manchester and Martha Descheneau (and husband Armand) of Bedford; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Martha Bouchard and brother Richard Bouchard.

A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03104. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr., Bedford, NH 03110 or to FMAS, 490 Dunbarton Rd., Manchester, NH, 03105.

Pam lived across the street from our Mom, Leona Rogers, and was always so friendly and helpful. She always came over when we were there to visit. She grew such beautiful flowers. Our deepest sympathy to all the family especially Judy.

Pam was my son's 3rd grade teacher, my son is now 32 years old. She had the children make a Santa for their moms out of yarn and I still wear mine every Christmas season and think of Pam. She will be missed.
