Pamela Bryant Bragg, age 90 of Selbyville, DE. died peacefully on June 20, 2024, at The Macky & Pam Stansell House in Berlin, MD. Pam was born on June 8, 1934, in Memphis, TN. and was the daughter of the late Emmett and Nellie (Rees) Bryant of Florence, AL.
Pam lived in Memphis and Florence during her early years. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama, and George Washington University Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Field of Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked as an RNP and retired after 20+ years from the University of Maryland Student Health Center. She moved from Bowie, MD back to Texas and later returned to the east coast and made Selbyville, DE. her forever home.
Nobody was into fashion than Pam. A style maven through and through, our girl never looked bad and always made everyone else feel good. Her beauty was more than skin deep, though. Pam spent time landscaping, interior decorating, ballroom dancing, driving cross country, getting on her John Deere tractor mowing acres of grass for hours, enjoying watching her grandchildren play sports, driving to and from their tournament games, attending their high school and college graduations, and loving on her fur-babies, Holly, and Jack.
She is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Bragg, and sister, Margaret "Peggy" Crawford.
Pam leaves her devoted husband of 67 years, Ray H. Bragg, a daughter, Debra, of Pasadena, MD., brother Rees Bryant (Patty) of Kissimmee, FL. and brother-in-law Dr. Charles W. Crawford of Memphis, TN. She also leaves her grandchildren Christopher (Lauren), Nicholas (Ashley), and Matthew (Ginny), great granddaughters, Natalie, Morgan, and Aubrey as well as Shelia and Jay Featherstone of Berlin, MD. and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
While our heart mourns the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. In Pam's final thoughts she shared her pride with BOTH of her family and sincere thanks to friends. Condolences and life tributes may be sent to the Selbyville Food Bank at https://www.fbd.org, or The Macky & Pam Stansell House Coastal Hospice at https://www.coastalhospice.org/make-a-donation.
