Passed August 6, 2025, at age 74

Pamela Ann Brow, lovingly known as Ganny, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 6, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on December 1, 1950, in Manhattan, New York.

Predeceased by her parents, Lella and Raymond Proctor. She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Wayne Brow; her children Mickey (Julie) Gebo, Mark (Rachel) Brow, and Steven (Jody) Brow; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren, Brother Michael (Diane) Proctor, Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law Elaine and Albert Nichols, Aunt Rose Harris, and her precious Yorkie, Muffin.

Ganny was blessed to have close friends who were truly family to her. Their love and support were a constant source of joy throughout her life.

Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had a kind word for everyone, thoughtful, and had a knack for making everyone around her feel special.

For 50 years, Ganny dedicated herself to caring for others. Her compassion, empathy, and selflessness were what made her an exceptional Registered Nurse and Patient Care Coordinator at CVPH hospital. She earned the respect from nursing staff, colleagues, administrators, and the many patients she cared for. Her dedication earned her promotion to Director of the Patient Care Coordinators where she finished her career.

After retirement, Ganny spent time doing the things she loved most with the people that meant the most to her. Whether spending time at Camp4Us, going on rides with family and friends, home improvement projects, crafting, and gardening. She loved to travel and was an avid reader. Sundays were her favorite day of the week and dedicated to cheering on her beloved New York Football Giants. Ganny took immense pride in her beautiful home and was a true reflection of the things she loved most. She constantly challenged herself to learn new things and as a result, created a second career as a Bookkeeper for Mark II Construction.

Ganny was the heart of the family and holidays were a special treasure to her. She expressed her love of family through the wonderful meals she prepared and the thoughtful baskets of baked goods she created. She was happiest when her family were all together under one roof.

A life well lived, and her memory will remain in our hearts forever.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 5 to 7 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Road, Mooers. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 793 Gilbert Road, Mooers, 518-236-4747.

Thank you Ganny ( Pamela) for the wonderful memories you gave us while on vacation in the Caribbean, in Mexico, in Maine, in New York or sharing with us your beautiful home in West Chazy or up in the mountains at the campsite. I will never forget the loud calls of the peacocks that woke you up way too early every morning in Mexico. My sincere condolences to all family and friends who loved Ganny. She will surely be missed. Will continue to pray for her soul for a long time to come. The Peace of the Lord be with you all.
