MS. PAMELA JEAN BURNS, age 59, of 1928 Dabney Drive, Augusta, GA passed on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at her residence. Family members and friends may call at the funeral home. THOMSON FUNERAL SYSTEM, Thomson, GA oversees all arrangements.
MS. PAMELA JEAN BURNS, a native of Augusta, GA was born on Tuesday, May 17, 1966, to Horace McCladdie and Fannie Burns. Our beloved Pamela entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at her residence in Augusta, GA.
Pamela was raised in Columbia County, GA and received her childhood education by attending the public school system in Columbia County, GA. She joined Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Appling, GA at an early age. During her spare time, Pamela enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. She truly had a passion for scratching lottery tickets hoping that one day she'd win big money. Pamela was a very proud and dedicated caretaker to her mother until her untimely illness.
Our beloved Pam was a beautiful person inside and out. She is missing, and she will continue to be missed. Our hearts are crushed as we lean on God's everlasting word. May we find peace and comfort in knowing that she is free from pain and watching over us with love. This goodbye is not forever. It simply means we'll miss you until we meet again. Although you are gone from our sight, you shall remain in our hearts forever! Pamela is predeceased by a brother, Stanley Burns.
A lifetime of precious memories will be cherished by those who have survived her: seven daughters, Latoya Burns, Alicia Burns, Sharay Burns, Lashaunder Burns, Desiree Burns, Destiny Burns, all of Augusta, GA and Ciera Dubose of Harlem, GA; one son, Antonio Burns of Augusta, GA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a loving mother, Fannie Burns of Augusta, GA; a loving father, Horace McCladdie of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Temeko McCladdie of Atlanta, GA and Michelle McCladdie of Sacramento, CA; three brothers, Kenneth Burns, Andre McCladdie, both of Augusta, GA and Marvin Gardenhire of Atlanta, GA; a special friend, Wade "Supreme" Shedrick of Augusta, GA; a best friend, Anita Dent of Appling, GA; an auntie, Juanita Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; one uncle, Floyd (Joyce) Curry of Appling, GA; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and additional friends.
