MR. Tyrone "T" Evans

Mr. Tyrone "T" Evans, age 53, of 156 Main Street, Warrenton, GA passed on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Piedmont-Augusta hospital in Augusta, GA. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. Family members and friends may call at the funeral home. THOMSON FUNERAL SYSTEM, Thomson, GA oversees all arrangements.
MR. TYRONE "T" EVANS was born on Sunday, January 23, 1972, in Augusta, GA to Nancy Evans and Leroy Kendrick. Our beloved Tyrone entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Piedmont-Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Tyrone was educated in the McDuffie School System of Georgia. He received his General Education Diploma (G.E.D.) in 2006. After receiving his G.E.D., he furthered his education by attending Colorado Technical University where he received his Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration in June of 2024. For many dedicated years, Tyrone a Truck Driver by trade gainfully employed with Georgia Disposal Company. He also was a Bus Driver for C.S.R.A. Head Start in Thomson, GA. Whether a truck driver or bus driver, Tyrone was considered somewhat a Jack-of-Trades. He had a broad range of skills, capable of performing many different tasks and or challenges. Above Tyrone's many accomplishments, his most precious one was being baptized in 2024 as a Jehovah's Witnesses. After he became a Jehovah's Witness, he devoted the rest of his life to serving Jehovah and sharing the Good News from house to house.
In his leisure time, Tyrone enjoyed working in the outside gardening and growing a variety of flowers. He took much pride in taking care of his plants especially his elephant ears. He thoroughly enjoyed being his very own gardener/landscaper and kept his yard always looking the best.
A lifetime of precious memories will be cherished by those he leaves behind: a loving wife, Jacqueline Johnson Evans of Warrenton, GA; two daughters, Amber Lazenby and Mayonna Evans, both of Thomson, GA; one son, Santavious Evans of Thomson, GA; a stepson, William Johnson of Warrenton, GA; his mother, Nancy Evans (Leonard "Pops") Hill of Thomson, GA; his father, Leroy Kendrick of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Lula Kendrick of Thomson, GA, Tamara Kendrick and Evelyn Sewell, both of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, James, Jr. (Shandra) Harmon and Brodrick (Gabriel) Climons, all of Thomson, GA; nieces and nephews, Jessica Hill, Jakiah Hill, JaliSeaous Hill, Erin Harmon, Peyton Harmon, Taylor Harmon, Brolexia Climons, Brotaiya Climons, Antoniya Climons, Broderick Climons Jr., ArNicya Leverette, Kadence Curry, LaChelle Curry-Climons, Broderick Climons III and Catalaya Climons, all of Thomson, GA; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
