Pamela Claus Obituary

Published by Life Tributes Cremation Center on Apr. 1, 2014.
Pamela was born on August 16, 1948. She was raised in York, Nebraska by the late Bernard L. Claus and Lorna M. Claus. She loved traveling to the Oregon Coast and spending time on the beach. She spent many hours working in her yard attending her award winning roses. She held a special place in her heart for her pups. She will be greatly missed by her Schnauzers, Claire and Stewart and the late Maximus, who is with her keeping her warm and safe. Neighbors fondly remember her home being cheerfully decorated throughout the seasons for each holiday. Pamela also loved the movies and puzzles. Her greatest gift to family and friends was her sense of humor and loving smile. Pamela was a long time member of the Humane Society of the United States. Pamela graduated from Tyee High School June 8th 1966 in Seattle, Washington. She then attended John Robert Powers School and graduated December 9th 1969. Following that she became a graduate of Beau Monde College of Beauty on January 12th 1972 in Portland, Oregon, where she started her career as a beautician. She retired from her longtime employment with Kadlec Medical Center in Richland Washington 2013. She was known to bring smiles and comfort to the families of patients she encountered during their journey. Pamela is survived by her daughters, Heather Regimbal of Nampa, Idaho and Tammara Yourdan of Kuna, Idaho; brother Rodney Claus and sister Debra Claus. Special thanks go to the Kadlec Regional Medical Center staff for the compassionate care given to Pamela for making her comfortable during her last moments. Heartfelt appreciation goes to friends and family who were there to remind her to stay strong. In lieu of a memorial service, we ask that friends and family share their stories and memories of our mother on this guestbook.
