Pamela David Obituary

Pamela Jo David, 83, of Converse, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 7:41 PM, Wednesday, June 18, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Marion on April 1, 1942, the daughter of Jack W. and Juanita Gray Miller. Pamela married John W. David on July 3, 1970 and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2024.

Pamela was a 1960 graduate of Marion High School and a 1964 graduate of Tucker Career Institute as an LPN. She worked at Marion General Hospital for 34 years, retiring from the recovery room at MGH in 1998. She truly loved encouraging people who were going through surgeries and illnesses.

Pamela previously attended Converse Church of Christ where she had served on the library committee, worked as an office volunteer, and served on the funeral dinner committee. She later attended College Corner Brethren Church in Wabash, IN, where her son Solomon is the Pastor.

Family was the most important thing in her life. Pamela was most passionate and dedicated to her family. In her quiet and unassuming manner, she placed her God and her family above all else in her life. She enjoyed painting, drawing, photography, music and her dog Sassi.

Pamela is survived by her children Tammi (Mark) Linna of Swayzee, Paul (Mandy) David of Converse, Solomon (Alicia) David of Marion, and Jon (Terri) David of Ft. Wayne; grandchildren Alex Linna, Nathaniel Linna, Thomas Linna, David Linna, Blakely Kirtlan, Jacob David, Ava David, Shelby David, Bella St John, Seth David, Isaac David and Rachael David; thirteen great grandchildren, her brother Jon (Dana) Miller of Apollo Beach, FL, special nephew and niece Monte and Stephanie Miller of Jonesboro, IN, and a step sister Andrea (Joe) Buda of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, a son Daniel David and a brother Jack Miller Jr.

A service celebrating the life of Pamela Jo David will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 26, at the Converse Church of Christ, 301 E Wabash St. Converse, IN, 46919 with her son Pastor Solomon David officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown, IN. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Thursday, at the church.

To Pamela's Family, May God grant you peace and comfort in the loss of a dedicated woman. Pam was a member of my MHS class and will be recognized at our reunion this August. She was always fun to be around and was smiling. God bless. Miriam Williams
