Derby, Kansas - Derby, Kansas - Pamela Everhart, 78, passed away May 26, 2025 after an extended battle with cancer. She was born November 27, 1946 to Henry and Elizabeth Horn in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the eldest of three children. The family moved to Derby in the early 1950s where her father worked for the Boeing Company as an aeronautical engineer, and Pamela attended school. Pamela served as receiving editor the Transactions of the Kansas Academy of Science journal from 2014 through the spring of 2021. Her interests included reading cooking, orchids, knitting and crocheting, and she loved her cats.
