Pamela Amelia Fields

Pamela Amelia Fields, 81, of Charleroi, Fallowfield Township, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born on October 6, 1944, in Washington, a daughter of the late Paul and Ella Marie Quattro Bombalek. Pamela graduated from the Bentworth High School in 1962 and later attended Penn Commercial Business Technical School. Pamela was energetic, sociable, always wanting to be on the go, and ready for fun. She was an expert scrabble player and was in several card clubs over the years. She cherished her life-long friends and befriended everyone that she met in passing. Yet most important to her was family, especially time spent with her grandchildren. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bentleyville and had a strong faith and love for Jesus Christ. Pamela had a creative side, ensuring her home was joyfully decorated for every holiday, and she warmly welcomed all. Pamela was fashionable and appreciated everything beautiful from butterflies and plants to fine art and crafts. She loved books and enjoyed her work at the Bentleyville library, while also spending many years in other retail and secretarial trades. Those who knew Pamela the best appreciated her spirit, courage, determination, strength, and vitality. Pamela will be deeply missed as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Surviving are two daughters, Heather Fields and Renee Fields Jones (Brian); grandchildren, Jenna and Tommy Totten; and brother, Dennis Bombalek. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, is her husband, Howard R. Fields, who passed away on May 10, 2020. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville.
