It's Not Done Until It's Overdone.
Born April 15, 1946, Pamela, "Pam", embraced this life mantra until her last breath on November 1, 2024. Preceded in death by the love of her life, Paul Davie, Pam lived every minute of her 78 years out loud and in technicolor as a beloved mother to Debbie (Jason) and Jennifer (David), a bonus mom to John (Shelby), Mike (Kimberly) and Kate (Richard), a doting Grammy to 9 grandchildren Jordan, Savannah, Ryan, Sydney, Keaira, Jack, Kylie, Ella, Emersyn, a devoted sister to Mark, and a cherished friend to anyone who had the gift of knowing her.
Fueled by her faith and love for Jesus, Pam modeled an exceptional ability to make you feel like you were valuable simply for existing. She delighted with exuberance in your successes and learning. She nurtured and supported you with deep empathy in your setbacks, and made the most ordinary of life experiences feel like confetti-filled tickertape parades. In life and in her legacy, Pam's greatest achievements were building lasting, authentic relationships and helping people become the best versions of themselves. Her life passions and the areas of greatest enjoyment in life included a voracious love of reading and shopping as an Olympic sport. Pam never met a slot machine that she didn't enjoy playing, and she was a committed sleep advocate for at least 8 hours a night. She was also a "first call" friend who generously and religiously spent time on "phone dates" with her loved ones for hours on end.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life for Pam on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Urban Fire House 8300 Starnes Road, North Richland Hills, Texas 76182.
This will be an Open House from 2:00pm - 5:00pm with prepared remarks beginning at 2:30pm. Many have asked about donations in Pam's honor. She cared deeply about children, the abused, neglected and the underserved. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choosing or to any of the following that Pam supported over the years.
-Salvation Army https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/
-St. Jude’s www.stjude.org/give/memorials-and-dedications/donation-in-honor-of-someone.html
-American Cancer Society www.cancer.org/donate/memorial-giving.html Please copy and paste the links to donate.
If we miss seeing you at Pam's celebration, we ask that you remember her life and her mantra as you "over-do until it is overdone" in love, laughter, and relationships. We extend our abundant gratitude for your prayers and support.
