Pamela J. HARDING

HARDING, Pamela J. (Margetson) Age 81, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester.

Pamela is survived by a son, Darryl E. Harding, Sr. and his wife, Dina; two grandsons, W. Isaac Harding and Darryl "DJ" Harding, Jr., all of Worcester; a sister, Melinda Margetson of Medford; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three siblings, Thomas Margetson, Jo-Anne Diggs and Rupert Margetson, Jr. Pamela was born in Cambridge, MA, daughter of the late Rupert and Rose (Wade) Margetson and lived there for many years, before moving to Worcester. She was a graduate of the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing.

Pamela was a Registered Nurse for many years at Youville Hospital in Cambridge, before retiring. In her many years of caring for others, she continued to commute to Cambridge for several years after moving to Worcester. She was a proud member of the Union Baptist Church in Cambridge. She enjoyed Broadway shows, playing Scrabble, reading and travel.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 5, from 10 am until 11 am, followed by a Service at 11 am, in Belmont AME Zion Church, 55 Illinois Street, Worcester. There will be another Memorial Visitation on Friday, March 7, from 10 am until 11 am, followed by a Service at 11 am, in Union Baptist Church, 874 Main Street, Cambridge.
